Common Questions About Selling
What is the minimum quantity you will buy?
For local pickup we typically require a minimum of 50 pallets. For long-distance pickups, the minimum is usually a truckload (200-500 depending on size). For smaller quantities, drop-off at our facility is always an option.
Do you buy damaged or broken pallets?
Yes. We buy pallets in all conditions. Damaged pallets are valuable for recycling and parts. Pricing reflects condition, but we always make a fair offer.
How quickly can you pick up pallets?
In metro areas, we can often schedule pickup within 24-48 hours. Standard scheduling is typically within 3-5 business days. Recurring accounts get priority scheduling.
How do I get the best price for my pallets?
Keep pallets sorted by size and condition if possible. Larger quantities get better pricing. Standard 48x40 GMA pallets in good condition command the highest prices. Contact us for current market rates in your area.
Every Business Has Surplus Pallets
If you receive goods on pallets, chances are you have pallets that could be turned into cash. Here are the types of businesses that sell to us most frequently, and why it makes sense for their bottom line.
Retail Stores & Chains
Retail locations receive merchandise on pallets from dozens of vendors. Those pallets pile up in back rooms and loading docks, taking up valuable space. We provide scheduled pickups that keep your receiving area clear and put money back into your operation.
Warehouses & DCs
Distribution centers process enormous volumes of inbound pallets. Without a buyback program, those pallets become a waste management headache. We buy all grades in bulk, handle the loading, and pay competitive market rates so you can focus on throughput.
Manufacturing Facilities
Factories receive raw materials and components on pallets that are often discarded after unloading. Those pallets still have significant value. Our recurring pickup programs ensure a steady revenue stream from materials that would otherwise be wasted.
Grocery & Food Service
Grocery stores, restaurants, and food distributors receive high volumes of pallets from food and beverage suppliers. We specialize in managing the pallet flow for food industry clients, including sorting, grading, and fast turnaround pickups that respect your hygiene requirements.
Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals
Hospitals, pharmacies, and medical supply distributors accumulate pallets from equipment and supply deliveries. We handle all types including specialty pallets used in the pharmaceutical supply chain, offering secure disposal documentation when required.
Construction & Trades
Construction sites, hardware stores, and building material suppliers deal with heavy-duty pallets carrying lumber, concrete, roofing, and other materials. These pallets are often sturdier and more valuable than standard models. We pay premium rates for heavy-duty surplus.
How Much Are Your Pallets Worth?
The value of your surplus pallets depends on type, condition, quantity, and your location. Here are typical market rates so you can estimate your potential revenue.
Like-new condition, no damage
Good condition, minor wear
Usable but worn
Recycling value

Maximize Your Revenue
Sort by Grade
Sort pallets by size and condition before pickup. Sorted loads get better pricing because they reduce our processing time.
Stack & Stage
Stack pallets neatly and make them accessible for our truck. Easy loading means faster pickup and better rates for you.
Batch Pickups
Larger quantities per pickup get better per-pallet pricing. If possible, accumulate pallets between pickups rather than calling for small lots.
Go Recurring
Set up recurring pickups to establish a steady revenue stream. Recurring accounts qualify for premium pricing and priority scheduling.
Highlight Specialties
Specialty pallets like heat-treated, Euro-spec, and oversized pallets often command premium prices. Separate these from standard stock.
Build a Recurring Revenue Stream
One-time pallet sales are great, but the real value comes from establishing an ongoing pallet buyback program. Our recurring partnerships are designed to create a predictable revenue stream from what most businesses treat as waste. Instead of paying for pallet disposal, you get paid for your surplus on a regular schedule.
Recurring clients enjoy several advantages over one-time sellers. You get priority scheduling so our trucks arrive when it is most convenient for your operation. You receive better per-pallet pricing because we can optimize our route planning. You get a dedicated account manager who understands your business and can anticipate your needs. And you receive monthly revenue reports that help you forecast income and track the value of your program.
Setting up a recurring program is simple. After your first pickup, your account manager will work with you to determine the ideal pickup frequency, establish baseline volumes, and agree on pricing terms. Most programs are up and running within a week, and you will see your first payment within 15 days of the initial pickup.
Set Up Recurring PickupWeekly Pickup
Ideal for high-volume operations generating 200+ pallets per week. Our trucks arrive the same day and time every week, keeping your dock clear and your revenue flowing consistently. Best for distribution centers and large retailers.
Bi-Weekly Pickup
The most popular option for mid-volume operations. Pickups every two weeks give you enough time to accumulate a meaningful load while preventing pallet buildup from getting out of hand. Great for medium warehouses and manufacturers.
Monthly Pickup
A good fit for smaller operations or businesses with lower pallet volumes. Monthly pickups allow you to batch your surplus for maximum per-pickup efficiency. Works well for small retailers, offices, and specialty businesses.
On-Demand Pickup
Need flexibility? Our on-demand option lets you call for a pickup whenever your pallet inventory reaches a threshold you set. No fixed schedule, no commitment. Just call when you are ready and we schedule pickup within 48 hours in most areas.
More Questions About Selling Pallets
Do I need to sort my pallets before pickup?
Sorting is not required but it is recommended because sorted loads receive better pricing. If you can separate pallets by size and condition, we can assess them more quickly and offer higher per-pallet rates. If sorting is not practical for your operation, that is completely fine. Our crews will sort on-site during pickup at no additional charge.
What happens to the pallets after you pick them up?
Pallets in good condition are inspected, graded, and resold to businesses that need quality used pallets. Pallets that need work go to our repair facility where they are refurbished for another lifecycle. Pallets that cannot be repaired are disassembled and recycled. Good lumber becomes repair stock, unusable wood becomes mulch or biomass fuel, and metal hardware is recycled. Our goal is zero waste.
Can I sell pallets that are not standard 48x40 size?
Absolutely. We buy all pallet sizes including 42x42, 48x48, 48x42, Euro pallets, and custom dimensions. In many cases, specialty and oversized pallets command premium prices because they are harder to source. Tell us what sizes you have and we will quote accordingly.
Do you provide any documentation or receipts?
Yes. Every pickup includes a detailed receipt listing the quantity, types, grades, and pricing of all pallets collected. For recurring accounts, you receive monthly statements summarizing all transactions. We also provide environmental impact reports showing the number of pallets diverted from landfill, which is useful for ESG reporting and corporate sustainability programs.
Is there a contract or commitment required?
No long-term contracts are required for one-time sales. For recurring pickup programs, we offer flexible month-to-month agreements that either party can adjust with 30 days notice. We earn your business through performance, not contractual lock-in.
